The population of Snowmass Village is 2,786 full-time residents as of 2020. The population of the immediate area including Aspen, El Jebel, Old Snowmass, and the Frying Pan Valley is over 32,000. In recent years Snowmass Village has seen an increase in new construction of condominiums, luxury homes, and mansions.

Snowmass Village is part of the Aspen School District, which includes a preschool, Aspen Elementary School, Aspen Middle School, Aspen High School, and a Community School. There are also several daycare centers and other pre-schools in the area.
